SC leaning toward voiding Satur arrest - report

The Supreme Court on Friday appeared to be leaning toward nullifying the arrest warrant issued against Bayan Muna party-list Representative Satur Ocampo, radio station dzBB reported. The high court heard out oral arguments on Ocampo's case in a five-hour session. Ocampo was arrested last March 16 over his alleged involvement in the bloody purge of communist rebels in Leyte province in 1984-85. DZBB reported that the parties in the case were given 10 days to submit their respective memoranda. -GMANews.TV
